A richly printed 40s cotton poplin covered in a dense garden of pink, red, ivory and soft purple flowers against a deep black ground.
At around 160 gsm, this is a slightly more substantial poplin with a smooth hand and enough structure to hold a clean silhouette. The darker ground and medium weight make it especially nice for autumn and winter sewing, while still remaining breathable as an all-cotton fabric.
The floral print is lively without feeling overly bright, and the black background gives it a slightly vintage, romantic feel. Great for dresses, shirt dresses, blouses, gathered skirts and lightweight layering pieces.
