The addition of silk gives the fabric a softer, more delicate character than an ordinary lightweight cotton.
Hand & Drape
This is an ultra-lightweight cotton blend containing a small amount of mulberry silk, with a very soft hand and graceful, airy drape. At around 50 gsm, it feels exceptionally light and breathable.
The fabric is sheer and will generally benefit from lining or layering when used for dresses, skirts, or other garments where more coverage is desired.
