This is a dense cotton poplin with a crisp, structured hand. It is not a soft, drapey fabric; it has body, shape, and a slightly papery poplin feel.
At around 175gsm, it is more substantial than a very lightweight lawn or voile. It holds gathers, pleats, puff sleeves, shirt collars, and simple skirt shapes beautifully.
