A beautifully substantial cotton fabric featuring oversized painterly florals over a deep midnight ground.
Large cream and blush blooms are layered with soft blue, olive and grey botanical details, creating a dramatic floral print that feels elegant rather than overly sweet. The dark background gives the design depth, while the lighter flowers stand out beautifully across a finished garment.
Originally sourced from an apparel brand, this fabric has a quality, substantial hand similar in weight to a light-to-medium cotton twill. At around 220 gsm, it has enough body to hold a beautiful silhouette while remaining comfortable and wearable rather than heavy or rigid.
This is one of my favorite fabrics from this release, especially for autumn and winter dresses.
