Woven with a particularly dense construction, this fabric has a smooth, substantial surface and a crisp, structured hand. It makes that characteristic dry, papery rustling sound when moved — a quality often found in tightly woven high-density cottons.
At around 180 gsm, it is significantly more substantial than standard shirting poplin while still remaining suitable for garments. It holds shape beautifully, making it especially good for voluminous dresses, gathered skirts, structured shirts, shorts, trousers, and lightweight jackets.
