A classic yarn-dyed cotton poplin fabric with clean red and cream white stripes. The stripe is woven into the fabric rather than printed, giving it a crisp, polished, and more substantial look than a regular printed stripe.
This is a 100% cotton poplin, around 120 gsm. It has a smooth cotton hand with a crisp, structured body and good shape. It is light enough for shirts and everyday garments, but has more body than very thin lawn or voile.
Great for shirts, blouses, boxy tops, pajama sets, gathered skirts, simple dresses, aprons, tote bags, table linen, cushions, or small home sewing projects.
